Brain Map in Scarlet Nexus is a skill tree that consists of active and passive skills that can be unlocked for the game's Main Characters; Yuito Sumeragi or Kasane Randall. Apart from having Psycho-Kinetic Abilities, Scarlet Nexus presents the Brain Map skill tree to unlock more traits that can strengthen Yuito or Kasane's stats and to fully unleash their potential in combat. The Brain Map is presented as a skill tree where players will need to obtain and spend Brain Points (BP) to unlock or learn a new skill.
Players can access the Brain Map by cycling through the main menu. The Brain Map shows you what skills you have learned and allows you to learn new skills by spending BP. Skills are split into catgories, some routes only have a single path to learn the entire skillset, while other skillsets branch into adjacent categories. Brain Points (BP)
You gain Brain Points (BP) when you level up. You can learn various skills by spending BP on the brain map screen in the menu.
The brain map shows you what skills you have learned and allows you to learn new skills by using BP. Skills are split into categories. Some routes only have a single path to learn the entire skillset, while other skillsets branch into adjacent categories.
While brain drive is active, active actions like executing brain crushes, psychokinesis follow-up attacks, and perfect dodges will increase an EXP bonus. Defeating enemies will further increase the EXP in relation to the bonus value from these actions.
Scarlet Nexus Brain Map
The Skills that are under the Expand tree for Yuito Sumeragi's Brain Map focuses on unlocking different combat tactics such as a charge attack, a slam attack, auto pick-up of items, additional combos to his weapon attacks, finisher moves, and many more. If you want to focus on having more combat tactics under Yuito's belt then unlocking skills under the Expand Brain Map Tree is where you can find certain upgrades.
Perfect Dodge Attack
Support Skills focuses on providing Yuito with upgrades to his equipment and other combat tactics such as an unlocking additional slots for a Plug-in to be equipped, more EXP and money gained from defeating enemies, granting the ability to activate 2 Struggle Arms System (SAS) abilities, and many more.
Enhance Skills focuses on upgrading the combat stats of Yuito such as his weapon attacks, speed rate of reviving Companions, effectiveness of attacks against knocked down enemies, weapon crush effects, an increase of the Psychokinesis gauge, and many more. Focus on unlocking skills under the Enhance category if you want to strengthen Yuito's effectiveness in his basic and advanced combat moves.
Brain Drive Skills
The skill tree for the Brain Drive only becomes available through story progression upon triggering the Brain Drive combat tactic. Brain drive is a state of increased focus, temporarily granting various buffs such as an increased attack, movement, and psychokinesis speed. The brain drive gauge fills up by performing actions such as defeating enemies or receiving damage, and will activate automatically when completely filled.

Brain Field Skills
The skill tree for the Brain Field only becomes available through story progression upon triggering the Brain Field combat tactic. Brain Field is a combat tactic where the character enters a frenzy mode. During this period, the character cannot use his or her weapons in combat but instead will have the ability to fully unleash the power of Psychokinesis. Brain Field only becomes active after a period of time, and the skills under the Brain Field category grants upgrades such as increased attacks when Brain Field is used or even extending the duration.
