Intertwining Thoughts and Confusion Walkthrough

While she does reunite with Naomi, it is not an event to rejoice. Kasane has no choice but to entrust her to Karen. She and her friends will continue suppressing Others as they've done. The team discusses General Karen's motives and plan until they are given the Other Suppression assignment. They are notified that there's a high probability for Others appearing the Mizuhagawa New City Development District. Kasane and her platoon have to head there immediately. 

Mizuhagawa District

When the team arrives at Mizuhagawa, they are notified of a reinforcement request for a transport truck that seems undocumented. Head foward and clear the Bile Pool and Cut Rut in your way. The objective marker direction will be shown on the top-right minimap. Head out to the open area until you reach a Seiran OSF to trigger a dialogue. Your next task would be to escort the transport truck to the Supernational Life Facility. Take the elevator up to reach the truck and trigger another cutscene with Kodama. You will enter a boss fight with Kodama Melone (Boss).

• Kodama mainly attacks with soundwaves emitted from the swinging her metallic pipe, which can be quite disruptive as the swing itself is a melee attack, and the soundwave travels for a long time before dissipating, dealing damage to units in its path and briefly nudging them back. While trading blows upfront, Kodama may damage the whole party with a shockwave sent out by smashing her pipe onto the ground. A skill that is fairly hard to evade, you may want to use SAS: Sclerokinesis to avoid damage, however, if you are gaining the upper hand with higher damage output, then you may also choose to save this SAS ability for later.

Supernatural Life Research Facility

Once they have secured the truck, they will need to escort the cargo and unload it at the Supernatural Life Research Facility. When they hear back from Kyoka, they will find out it was Yuito Platoon that was detected in the area and they were forced to fight them. One of the cargo boxes will unlock, and they will find human heads. Investigate the human head purpose. Make your way to the Level 0 Experimental Division and a cutscene will begin. Just as they discover the purpose of the human heads, Haruka will inform them of the arrival of the intruders - Yuito Platoon. Leave the area to continue the cutscene and begin a fight sequence against Yuito Platoon. Refusing this assignment to get rid of them will force the facility to bury the evidence including Naomi. Kasane will decide to hide and ambush them. They will then decide to pretend to fight the Yuito platoon and put on a show for Seiran. Fight the Yuito platoon and clear his HP bar until a cutscene interrupts. 

• This is an encounter where Yuito and Kasane are once again supported by teammates. Luckily for you, Kasane has a much stronger team, and Yuito's teammates, Hanabi and Gemma, will merely auto-attack in melee as you gang up on them individually. With Arashi present, use SAS: Velocity to your advantage, and strike them down one by one as you overwhelm them with attacks in a 3 vs 1 fight. Once you take them down, Yuito will appear with his katana, ready to take on Kasane and her platoon.

A government official will intrude until they are forced to disconnect, which leaves Kasane free to talk to Yuito. Arashi will then pull the alarm and they will end their encounter.

Kasane will run off to check on Naomi and they will catch her in distress upon finding out that they used human brains for her medication. Locate Naomi. Follow the quest location marker placed on your minimap to locate her room. Karen will tell the team to leave so they could have a talk. Their next destination appears to be Togetsu, the source of the cargo. They decide to go there next to investigate possible ways to help Naomi. This will begin the next Standby Phase in the Hideout. Partake in any available Bond Episodes during the Standby Phase.
