Phantom Art Weapons Guide for Scarlet Nexus features a guide on how to acquire the best weapons for all 10 characters of the game, both the Main Characters and Companions. You should first know that this requires a lot of grinding to be done since you will need to beat the story of the game 10 times either by completing Yuito or Kasane's story in order to obtain a very rare material called the "Phantom Art". Take note that Weapons obtained with the Phantom Art Materials are Post-game unlockables. Features that Carry Over in EX NEW GAME
Here are the following features that carry over upon starting EX NEW GAME:
- Character Gallery
- Previously unlocked Help Menu (Tutorial, Tips)
- All Acquired Equipment: Weapons, Plug-in, Items, Visuals, Materials
- Character Level and Stats
- Brain Points, based on your Character Level
- Brain Map Skills (only if you decide to carry it over)
- Items in the Shop
- Character Library Info.
- Kin (Money)
Features that are not carried over:
- Enemy Information or Compendium
- Brain Map Skills (you will need to reallocate your BP upon starting NG+ if you do not choose to carry over the skills)
A Few Things to Remember!
- Unlock New Game Plus first and beat the game in your first playthrough to get started.
- You will need to use a Clear Save File every time you start an EX NEW GAME (New Game Plus).
- Upon beating both stories of the Main Characters, you will be able to swap between the two protagonists at any time.
Steps on how to Unlock the Supreme Weapons:
- Purchase the expensive weapon for each character from Satori's shop which is at a fixed amount of 5000
EACH. - Farm certain Materials which can be found in different Locations and dropped by Enemies.
- From Satori's shop, cycle to the Exchange tab and strengthen the weapon by trading in various Materials.
- Upon strengthening the base weapon, farm the Phantom Art material by beating the main campaign of the game.
- And use it along with some other required Materials via the shop to craft it into the best weapon of the character.
Scarlet Nexus Phantom Art Weapons Guide
First Stage
- Purchase Douji Setsu Ami for 5000
- Collect x2 Rat Species Subjugation + which can be obtained from Rat type enemies located at the Abandoned Subway.
- Collect x3 Battle Record S which is a material dropped by stronger enemy variations of Others.
- Use the materials to upgrade the base weapon Douji Setsu Ami via the Exchange Tab of the Shop.
Second Stage
- Beat the game and collect x1 Phantom Art
- Obtain x1 Buddy Rummy Analysis which are dropped by a Buddy Rummy enemy.
- Use the collected materials and the upgraded Douji Setsu Ami to exchange it for the Otori.
First Stage
- Purchase Mao Kai for 5000
- Collect x2 ???
- Collect x3 ???
- Use the materials to upgrade the base weapon Mao Kai via the Exchange Tab of the Shop.
Second Stage
- Beat the game and collect x1 Phantom Art
- Obtain x1 ???
- Use the collected materials and the upgraded Mao Kai to exchange it for the Hitori.
First Stage
- Purchase Prometheus Torch Type 6 for 5000
- Collect x2 Paws Species Subjugation + which can be obtained from Paws type enemies located at Kikuchiba.
- Collect x3 Battle Record S which is a material dropped by stronger enemy variations of Others.
- Use the materials to upgrade the base weapon Prometheus Torch Type 6 via the Exchange Tab of the Shop.
Second Stage
- Beat the game and collect x1 Phantom Art
- Obtain x1 Gankin Fisher Analysis which are dropped by a Gankin Fisher enemy.
- Use the collected materials and the upgraded Prometheus Torch Type 6 to exchange it for the Monkey.
First Stage
- Purchase Special Guard Stick Rikugo for 5000
- Collect x2 Yawn Species Subjugation + which can be obtained from Brawn Yawn enemies located at Kunad Highway.
- Collect x3 Battle Record S which is a material dropped by stronger enemy variations of Others.
- Use the materials to upgrade the base weapon Special Guard Stick Rikugo Kai via the Exchange Tab of the Shop.
Second Stage
- Beat the game and collect x1 Phantom Art
- Obtain x1 Rotunda Pagoda which are dropped by a Rotunda Pagoda enemy.
- Use the collected materials and the upgraded Special Guard Stick Rikugo to exchange it for the Catfish.

- Purchase Lily Bell M20-6 for 5000
- Collect x2 Pool Species Subjugation + which can be obtained from Pool type enemies located at the Abandoned Subway.
