Presents | Scarlet Nexus Official Wiki

Presents in Scarlet Nexus are an assortment of various Items that could be gifted to Companions in the Hideout to boost the Character's relationships. These could be purchased or obtained from various Locations, but are mainly obtained through the shop's Exchange, and are used to increase Bonds just like the Bond Episodes. A good companion relationship allows the player to also have a better SAS Ability Level. Gifts usually have an appropriate designated recipient who would appreciate the present more than others might, therefore some presents can only be gifted to that particular Character and other characters might value the present more than others. This is indicated with the heath icon shown on the character portraits. Gifts you give will also be displayed at the Hideout.

- Characters marked with the heart will highly value the gift and will further increase your bond more than it might with other characters. These hearts vary in sizes and color. A heart may show a deeper red to indicate that they would "love" an item rather than just like it. You may find a big or small heart on the companions icon.

Resource reading: You won't know what the item is until you obtain it.

They can be claimed again after a certain amount of time passes but their locations will be randomized.

Where Do I Shop?

You buy or sell battle equipment and items at shops. Add-ons will be marked with an asterisk (*). The sole merchant of Scarlet Nexus is Satori the Archivist. Satori's list of items sold in the shop becomes updated over time as you progress the game. Satori can be found in various sections of the different Locations in Scarlet Nexus. Usually, Satori is found near marked objectives, before reaching it.

System Log

A system log is displayed on the right of the screen when you defeat an enemy. You can see how much EXP and money you earned, as well as any items you received.

Use Item

The item menu is displayed on the bottom left of the screen during battle. D-pad left & right to switch items, down to use an item. You cannot use an item immediately after another. You will be able to use another item after a certain amount of time has passed.
